Hong Kong – 13 Mar 13 – The HRO Today Forum APAC will explore the latest developments in HR Outsourcing and Services at its 4th annual conference, convening 22-23 May 2013, in Singapore.

The HRO industry is undergoing a transformation in response to changing attitudes of its generational workforces, a growing acceptance of social mobility, greater exploitation of social media, particularly for recruiting and talent management, and an explosion of outsourcing technology solutions. The changes are so fundamental that now is the time to take stock and assess the nature of the business; hence HRO Today Forum APAC’s theme for 2013 which is:

The New DNA…

“The HRO market place is shifting and both vendors and customers have to respond to new global influences affecting their business,” said Faye Holland, Managing Director of European & Asia Pacific Operations, SharedXpertise, producers of the HRO Today Forum APAC, “HRO Today Forum APAC champions innovative solutions to these challenges and at our fourth annual conference in Singapore we have gathered the top talent to help address the common issues affecting the HR Outsourcing across the Asia-Pacific region.”

Two of APAC’s HRO innovators will lead the keynote sessions:

Professor Ian Williamson, Associate Dean of International Relations at the Melbourne Business School. Ian will explore how in today’s competitive landscape company survival and successes are closely tied to how effectively organizations develop and implement new innovative products and process.

Kevin Wheeler, President The Future of Talent Institute.  Kevin will trace the converging smaller demographic, generational, social, technical and economic trends that are combining to completely disrupt the way we work and the way we think about work.  HRO will be a core element in this future.

Supporting the keynote speakers, HRO Today Forum APAC 2013 will also include interactive ‘deep-dive’ learning sessions, led by thought leaders in HR, globalization and organizational efficiency, and take a broader look at HRO issues across the Asia-Pacific region.

The conference will also recognise those practitioners that have made a marked achievement in the advancement of HRO in the region at its “Be Transformed” awards presentation finale. Nominations for these awards will be announced shortly.
